"From Scratch" Food

Add fruit to soup

Fruit adds a special touch to homemade soups. During this fall season, we use pears and apples. Whenever we make a creamy soup, we never use dairy milk so there is no worry about the acid in the fruit curdling the “milk”. When creaminess is needed, Lima or white bean “milk” is used, made in similar fashion as soy milk.
